Arkadiusz Gradys received his M.Sc. in Material Sciences from Warsaw University of Technology in 2001 and his Ph.D. in Material Sciences from the Polish Academy of Sciences, Institute of Fundamental Technological Research in 2010. He was a Postdoc in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israel (Host: Prof. E. Zussman), in 2011–2013. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor in the Independent Laboratory of Polymers and Biomaterials. He is an experimental scientist inclined towards fundamental studies in the field of polymer physics. From the beginning of his adventure with polymer physics in 2000, he has focused on phase transitions, their kinetics, and polymorphism. Currently, he is focused on the properties of electrospun polymer fibers, especially on confinement effects.
