Prof. Domenica Nigro works in the Department of Plant, Soil and Food Sciences at the University of Bari Aldo Moro (Bari, Italy) as a professor. She is the guest editor of the Special Issues "Wheat Breeding through Genetic and Physical Mapping" and "Wheat Breeding through Genetic and Physical Mapping 2.0" at MDPI. Her main research interests include wheat, molecular markers, QTL analysis, genetic mapping, nitrogen metabolism, genetic transformation, wheat quality, and biotic stress tolerance.
