Dr. Hetong Lin is a Professor at the College of Food Science, Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University. He completed his PhD studies in Food Science at Zhejiang University in 2003. He recently led the Project titled “Molecular Mechanism of Autolysis and Organic Acid Metabolism and Its Regulation after Longan Fruit Harvesting”. In addition, he is the Director of the Institute of Postharvest Technology of Agricultural Products at Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, and the Director of Fujian Key Laboratory of Postharvest Biology of Subtropical Special Agricultural Products at Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University. His research interests include Fruit and Vegetable Post-harvest Biotechnology and Transportation Engineering; Fruit and Vegetable Post-harvest Pathophysiology and Freshness Preservation Technology; Food Storage and Freshness Preservation and Logistics Engineering; Food Nutrition and Safety; Food Processing and Quality Control.
