This paper analyzes supply chain crisis, the main blockage to effective supply chain collaboration. The research question of this article refers to how the two collaboration concepts (vertical and horizontal) in supply chain can be influenced in practice by potential risk factors. This research proposes five alternatives for a good collaboration: Information sharing collaboration, Decision synchronization collaboration, Incentive alignment collaboration, Resource and skill sharing collaboration, Knowledge Management collaboration. After a thorough research and detailed discussions, the authors identified 16 risk factors most present in literature. The research methodology was combined with the application of the analytic hierarchy process (AHP)

The demand of global investments in renewable energy projects requires a deep understanding of various risks faced by the utility and project developers. This paper analyzes risk variables between different actors of supply chain and identifies problems encountered in wind power projects through public procurement procedure. The authors were involved in a wind power project obtained through a structured process achieved in stages: research, development and final implementation of a wind power. The analysis of the issues reported by literature combined with the application of the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) tries to eliminate risk factors in wind power supply chain

The new alternatives of collaboration implies a deep analysis of competencies of supply chain actors and involves a good partnership amongst supply chain partners through exchange of information, resources and allocation of specific roles. It is considered to be important finding mutually profitable cooperation models that support staff essential educational training for a good supply chain collaboration. One of the concepts that helps educational courses to improve training in collaboration between partners it is use to identify new challenges that requires competencies in supply chain. The methodology is based on the knowledge, skills, and attitudes model (KSAs) and it is use to support competency training in collaborative supply chain. Knowledge Skills and Attitudes (KSA) are considered part of the three domains identified in the educational styles of learning activities. The KSAs were selected to enable supply chain professionals, regardless of work setting, to identify areas of training needed in order to become proficient in the competencies required to address their areas of responsibilities in supply chain. More specifically this paper presents the learning process in a collaborative buyer-supplier relationship and the development of shared knowledge, skills and attitudes in supply chain relations. The model applied present that supply chain actors need to have the ability to understand the information to perform the right task and demonstrate that stimulating internal drivers provide answers for a good collaboration between partners

Difficult implementation of software development projects in the automotive industry have to face the velocity strategies for the use of the latest technologies that would provide the success of this type of projects, namely the frequency of change requirements during the life cycle. Current complexity determines the implementation of development strategies that would provide optimal projects structuring from the software field. In the first part the paper presents a comparative analysis of classical life cycle of IT projects with different life cycles of AGILE projects type from the automotive industry. In the second part it is configured in a teaching manner a conceptual model, which integrates Critical Chain method, based on the philosophy Theory of Constraints (TOC) developed by Goldratt, with life cycles analyzed, to avoid delays in the project and more to cope with disturbances caused by changing requirements in the each phase of the project life cycle

The present study aims at identifying the main drivers underlying the development of municipal solid waste management (MSWM) so as to ensure an effective enhancement of the current waste management system and significantly improved recycling rates. Based on the factors identified in the qualitative evaluation of the deployed statistics and using fuzzy multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM), these factors are hierarchized and the competitive strategic alternative is selected/customized. The judgment of eight experts from the eight major regions of Romania has been used in the applied fuzzy AHP and TOPSIS methodologies. The robustness of the results is analyzed against the sensitivity analysis. Following the sensitivity analysis, the alternatives retained their rank so that the eight experts’ assessments have been validated. By developing a sustainable MSWM, it is claimed that the recycling rate in Romania will increase.
