Jiaqi Yao holds a Ph.D. from the Shandong University of Science and Technology and the Land Satellite Remote Sensing Application Center joint training, and is currently an Associate Research Fellow at the Academy of Eco-Civilization Development for Jing-Jin-Ji Megalopolis, Tianjin Normal University. He won first prize in the 2023 Excellent Achievements of China's Remote Sensing Award. He is mainly engaged in the application of deep learning in the processing of active and passive domestic satellite remote sensing data, in addition to surface water and groundwater related research around SWOT, GRACE, and other satellites.
