Prof. Dr. Dongsheng Chen is a Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, and Department Head of the Department of Environmental Science at the Beijing University of Technology. He is also an Editorial Board Member of the academic journal Atmosphere and a Technical Expert on ecological environmental public interest litigation in the National Procuratorate. He was a Visiting Scholar at Macquarie University from 2015 to 2016. He was selected for the Beijing Science and Technology Star Program, Beijing Youth Talent Cultivation Program, and Advanced Individual in Capital Environmental Protection, and won the first prize of the Ministry of Education Science and Technology Progress Award and the first prize of the Beijing Science and Technology Award. His main research directions are environmental pollution prevention and control and planning management, coordinated prevention and control of PM2.5 and O3 pollution, environmental numerical simulation and prediction, and the interaction between atmospheric pollution and meteorology and climate.
