Maria Vesna Nikolic is a Research Professor at the Institute for Multidisciplinary Research, University of Belgrade. She completed her MS studies in Electrical Engineering in Architecture and Organization of Computer Networks at the Faculty of Electronic Engineering, University of Belgrade in 1996 and her Ph.D. in Materials Science at the University of Belgrade in 2003. She has published 148 papers with 1441 citations and an h-index of 19 (Scopus, 31 October 2023). Her research topics mainly include: semiconductor sensors, sensing materials, metal oxides, nanoparticles and nanomaterials.
