Lars Rehmann is a professor at the University of Western Ontario. He obtained a Diplom Biotechnologie (T.U. Braunschweig, Germany) in 2002 and a Ph.D. in chemical engineering (Queen's University, Canada). He was an NSERC post-doctoral fellow at the University of Manchester (2007–2009). His current research focuses on the production of biofuels and value-added chemicals through biochemical conversion processes.
