Vitaly Levashenko received M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from the Belarus State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics, Minsk, Belarus, in 1989 and 1994, respectively. From 1998 to 2004, he was with Belarus State Economic University, Minsk. Since 2004, he has been with the University of Žilina, Slovakia. Since 2014, he has been working as a professor with the Department of Informatics. He is the author of three books and about 100 articles. His research interests include data analysis, classification problems, and system reliability evaluation.
