Prof Willie Nheta is the Head of Department of Metallurgy, University of Johannesburg. He completed his PhD studies in Extraction Metallurgy at the Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys, Russian Federation. He recently led the iron ore and PGM tailings processing projects. He has published several papers in various journals.
