Dr. Paola Lenzi is an Associate Professor of Human Anatomy at the Department of Translational Research and New Technologies in Medicine and Surgery, University of Pisa. She obtained her Degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Pisa in 1990 and her Doctorate in Protistry in 1993. She continued her post-doctoral studies in 1994–1996. Her current interests include immunohistochemistry, immunoelectron microscopy, and autophagy neurons. She has been enrolled in the Italian Society of Anatomy since 1994 and is also a member of the Interdepartmental Center of Electronic Microscopy at the University of Pisa.
