Consuelo Celesti received her master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology and her Ph.D. degree in Engineering and Chemistry of Materials and Construction from the University of Messina, in 2016 and 2021, respectively. Since 2022, she has held a post-doctoral research grant for research activities entitled 'Use of Graphene Quantum Dots as carriers of theranostic agents for solid tumours'. Her research activity is focused around advanced synthetic methodologies for the organic functionalization of materials for biomedical and environmental applications.
