Agustín García is a professor in the Department of Economics of the University of Extremadura (Spain), having received a PHD from the university in 1996. He obtained a Graduate Degree in Economic Sciences in 1989 from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain. He was a Visiting Research Fellow at Global Development And Environment Institute (GDAE - Tufts University).
