Prof. Dr. Peilong Li, Doctor of Engineering (postdoctoral), Level-3 Professor and Young Science and Technology Talent of the Ministry of Transport, is a UC Davis visiting scholar, registered highway inspection engineer, and supervisor for doctoral students/postdocs. He focuses on research and teaching in road/airport engineering and interdisciplinary fields. Currently holding roles like Responsible Professor of Road and Railway Engineering, Airport Engineering Department Director, and Vebleo Fellow, he is also a national innovation and entrepreneurship mentor. He has presided over 4 national and 10+ provincial/ministerial projects, won 8 provincial/ministerial tech awards, published 120+ papers (60+ SCI/EI-indexed), obtained 37 patents, and guided students to win the national "Challenge Cup" and other competition awards.
