Belén Sanz-Barbero is a scientific researcher at the Health Institute Carlos III (Spain) and Professor of Epidemiology at the National School of Public Health (Madrid, Spain). She is an expert in Social Epidemiology from a gender perspective. She is involved in several national and international projects about intimate partner violence. She has led/participated in different research articles published in indexed journals about this issue (orcid.org/0000-0001-6030-061X). She is a member of the Spanish Epidemiology Society and the CIBER of Epidemiology and Public Health (CIBERESP).
