Dr. Oscar Adrián Aguirre-Castro is a full-time Professor and Researcher of Bioengineering at the Faculty of Engineering, Architecture, and Design at Universidad Autónoma de Baja California (UABC), Mexico. He received his B.Sc. in Electronics Engineering from UABC in 2012, an M.Eng. in 2018, and a Ph.D. in Engineering from MyDCI-UABC in 2022.  He is a member of the Mexican National System of Researchers (SNI). He serves as a reviewer for several prestigious journals. His research focuses on image enhancement, mechatronics, embedded systems, neural networks, machine learning, deep learning, artificial intelligence, bioengineering, biomedical applications, and digital image processing.
