Paola Peluso received her Laurea degree in Chemistry from the University of Pisa and her PhD in Chemical Sciences from the University Ca’ Foscari of Venice. In 2008, she started her independent career at the Institute of Biomolecular Chemistry of the Italian National Research Council in Sassari, where she leads the Unit of Enantioselective Chromatography and Molecular Recognition. She published 70 articles in international journals and two book chapters. She is a member of the Editorial Board of Electrophoresis and the Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Analysis Open. Her research activity mainly concerns liquid-phase enantioseparations and related recognition mechanisms, computational and experimental identification and the quantification of noncovalent interactions, electrostatic potential analysis, and the characterization of σ- and π-hole interactions in an HPLC environment.
