Prof. Ülo Niinemets leads the Chair of Crop Science and Plant Biology at EULS. His main research interest is what determines the vegetation distribution around the globe. He focuses on plant acclimation and adaptation to abiotic and biotic stresses, with particular emphasis on stress-dependent volatile release.
