Yan Liu is a professor in the School of Architecture at Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology (XAUAT) and the State Key Laboratory of Green Building in Western China. His research interests include building thermal science, urban thermal process, and urban climatology, etc. He hosts two National Natural Science Foundation of China projects and participates in two “13th Five-Year” National Science and Technology Major Projects of China". He is journal referee for more than 10 peer-review journals, including Energy and Buildings, Building and Environment, Applied Energy, Energy Conversion and Management. He has been invited to write a chapter and to give two keynote speeches at international conferences and has published more than 70 papers, 30 of which are SCI papers.
