In 1988, Robert Szeklicki graduated from Poznan University of Physical Education and received a master of science in physical education. After his studies, he started to work as a physical education teacher at a primary school. He became an academic teacher at Poznan University of Physical Education in 1991. In 1997, he presented his doctoral thesis and received his Ph.D. In 2008, he completed a habilitation degree. The main areas of his scientific interest are related to the physical activity and physical fitness of people of different ages. He has taken part in several scientific grants in Poland and in international projects.
