Regarding my academic credential, it includes a 5-year diploma (equivalent to Bachelor & Master) in Electrical and Computer Engineering with focus in the field of “Systems and Automatic Control” and an MSc degree on Biomedical Engineering. Both from University of Patras in Greece. Furthermore, I perform my PhD studies in the field of Wireless Sensors and Actor Networks, with my dissertation entitled as: “Data Transferring over Mobile Wireless Sensor Networks”, in the same University. The objective of the dissertation is the transferring of large amount of data within a Wireless Sensor Network (based on Contiki OS and IEEE 802.15.4 standard) with static and mobile nodes. Especially, the collection of data stored in static nodes from the mobile ones, taking into account the minimum delays and the transmission reliability (Simulations and experiments using Pioneer Amigo Bot). Path planning algorithms are implemented expressed as MILP problems, along with minimum energy consuming paths. My background includes six years of participation in three EU and/or national (co-)funded research projects in various interdisciplinary science fields and research within my PhD studies. During my research endeavors, I had the opportunity to investigate different problems and gained various qualifications.
