Dr. Tanweer is working as Assistant Professor-Senior Scale in the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering at Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal. He is an active researcher in the field of Wideband Antennas, Multiband Antennas, Metamaterial Antennas, Reconfigurable Antennas, MIMO Systems, Microwave Filter Design, Dielectric Resonator Antennas, Near Field Communications, Microwave Imaging, etc. He has published more than 100 papers in reputed peer-reviewed international journal and conferences and has filed 2 patents. According to google scholar he has an h-index of 15 and an i10 index of 23 and according to Scopus he has an h-index of 17. He is an IEEE senior member (SMIEEE). Currently, he is guiding six research scholars in the field of antenna engineering.
