Hailan Chen is a professor at Guangxi University. She received her PhD from the School of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering, Department of Bioengineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 2013. She joined the College of Animal Science and Technology of Guangxi University as a lecturer in June 2013, became an associate professor in 2018, and became a professor in 2024. She was a visiting scholar at the College of Veterinary Medicine, China Agricultural University, from 2023 to 2024. Her research interests include rapid diagnosis technology of animal diseases, rapid diagnosis technology of veterinary drug residues, and inflammatory tissue response mechanisms and regulatory strategies of brain-computer interfaces. She won the second prize in the Guangxi Science and Technology Progress Award in 2022. She is a director of the Pharmacology and Toxicology Branch of the Chinese Society of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, a director of the Guangxi Agricultural Society, a director of the Guangxi Veterinary Association, a director of the Guangxi Animal Health Products Association, and an expert in the Guangxi Science and Technology Expert Database.
