Anton Naumov holds a PhD in Technical Sciences from St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, Russia, received in 2010. He is now an Associate Professor at the Institute of Mechanical Engineering, Materials and Transport, Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, and a Principal Researcher at the Laboratory of Lightweight Materials and Structures, Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University. He also serves as a member of the Minerals, Metals & Materials Society and the American Welding Society. His research interests include metallurgy and metallurgical engineering, materials science, friction stir welding and engineering.
