Jia Chen graduated from Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) in 2012 and received the Ph.D. degree in control science and engineering with a specialization in robot vision. Then he worked at Samsung Research Institute (Beijing) as a lead research and development engineer on XXXX-Avatar. After that, he joined Central China Normal University. From 2017 to 2018, he visited the Centre for Vision, Speech and Signal Processing (CVSSP) of the University of Surrey, Guildford, Surrey GU2 7XH, UK, as a Visiting Scholar. He is now an Associate Professor of Digital Media Technology and serves on the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence in Education at CCNU. His current research interests include VR/AR, 3D reconstruction, 3D motion capture, educational information technology.
