Prof. Dr. Arul Jayaraman currently serves as an associate professor in the Artie McFerrin Department of Chemical Engineering at Texas A&M University. He is also the Associate Agency Director of the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station and the Executive Associate Dean of the Texas A&M University College of Engineering. He received a B.S. from the Birla Institute of Technology & Science in 1987, a M.S. at Tufts University in 1994, then completed his Ph.D. at the University of California in 1998. His research focuses on molecular systems biotechnology, specifically on using integrated experimental and modeling approaches for investigating problems in human health and medicine.
