Prof. Gen Hua Yue

Dr. Yue obtained his bachelor's and master's degree at Nanjing Agricultural University in 1986 and 1989, respectively, and he worked at the same university as a teaching assistant and lecturer from 1989 to 1994. He obtained his PhD under the supervision of Professor Hermann Geldermann at the University of Hohenheim, Germany in June 1999. His PhD thesis focused on porcine genome mapping. He joined Dr. Laszlo Orban’s group working on fish biotechnology and reproductive genomics at the Institute of Molecular Agrobiology in September 1998. He has been leading a group working on the Strategic Research Program (SRP) at the Temasek Life Sciences Laboratory (TLL) since December 2003. Currently, he is the director of the SRP.
