Stefano Berretti received a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering in 2001. Currently, he is an Associate Professor at the University of Florence, Italy. He has been a Visiting Professor at the University of Lille and the University of Alberta. His research interests focus on computer vision for face biometrics, human emotion and behavior understanding, computer graphics, and multimedia. He is the Information Director and an Associate Editor of the ACM Transactions on Multimedia Computing, Communications, and Applications, and Associate Editor of the IET Computer Vision journal.
