My current scientific interests focus the molecular physiology of vision in norm and pathology; femtosecond spectroscopy of visual and microbial rhodopsins; spectral properties and composition of lipofuscin fluorophores from human retinal pigment epithelium; the effect of ionizing radiation on living organisms; vision of invertebrate.
