Giuseppe Barbaro is an Associate Professor at the DICEAM Department of the Mediterranean University of Reggio Calabria. His teaching activity concerns, among others, the courses of hydrology, hydraulic protection, and hydraulic construction. His research activity concerns, among others, river and coastal hydraulics, river and coastal morphodynamics and its interaction, soil defence, and flood risk assessment and management.
