Experienced in chemometrics and data analysis, Dr. Serag performed his M.Sc. and PhD in the Analytical Chemistry Department, School of Pharmacy, Al-Azhar University, Egypt. During this period, he successfully developed different multivariate models used for sensitive detection and quantification of many pharmaceutical compounds in their combined dosage forms. Currently, Dr. Serag main research theme is focusing on applying chemometrics for analyzing metabolomics data, particularly those generated from LC & GC – MS in addition to NMR instruments, hopefully to find some relevant answers for complex biological questions.
