Biography
Javier Rubio-Loyola received an Engineering degree in communications and electronics and M.Sc. degree in digital systems from the National Polytechnic Institute of Mexico and a Ph.D. degree in telecommunications from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Barcelona. He is a Research Scientist with the Center for Research and Advanced Studies, Mexico. He has participated in a number of Spanish and IST-European research projects, mainly in the network-management area. His research interests focus on applied AI/ML, network management, network functions virtualization, and software-defined networks.
