Kateryna Davydenko is a forest pathologist. She is a senior researcher and Head of the Department of Entomology, Phytopathology, and Physiology at the Ukrainian Research Institute of Forestry and Forest Melioration. She currently works as a researcher at the Swedish University of Agricultural Science. She earned her Ph.D. in biology at the Swedish University of Agricultural Science. Her areas of expertise include forest phytopathology, molecular identification and structure of phytopathogen populations, invasive plant pests and diseases, biodiversity conservation in forest ecosystems, and forest protection.
