João P. C. Tomé is an Associate Professor in the Departamento de Engenharia Química, Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade de Lisboa (Portugal). His current research interests include the synthesis of porphyrins and phthalocyanines for different light-based applications. He has published over 185 papers, 6 book chapters, and issued 3 patents. He has already delivered over 40 invited oral communications and 60 others and has been co-author of more than 250 poster communications at several national and international scientific meetings.
