Daoliang Li is a Changjiang Scholar Professor at the Ministry of Education, China. He is also the director of the EU-China Centre for ICT in Agriculture and of the Beijing Engineering Research Centre for the Internet of Things in Agriculture at China Agricultural University. His principal research interest is ICT in agriculture, especially for information processing, smart sensors, and automatic control systems in aquaculture. He is the editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Information Processing in Agriculture and the chair of the Work Group for Advanced Information Processing in Agriculture within the International Federation for Information Processing. He was also the chairman of the first to the ninth International Conference on Computer and Computing Technologies in Agriculture (CCTA).
