Dimitar Bakalov received his PhD in Medicine from the Medical University of Sofia in 2021, and later finished his Master's degree in Public Health from the same university. He worked as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Physiology and Pathophysiology, Faculty of Medicine, Medical University of Sofia (2018–2022). In 2022, he was promoted to Senior Assistant Professor. His main research field is Medical Sciences and his subfields include Pharmacology, Pathophysiology, Neurology, Psychiatry, and Medical Statistics.
