Dr Vittorio Dibello received a Master's Degree in Dentistry and Dental Prosthodontics and a Postgraduate Certificate in Evidence-based Dentistry at the University of Bari. He then obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Endodontics and Restorative Dentistry at the University of Siena. He is a Doctoral Researcher at the Department of Orofacial Pain and Dysfunction of the Academic Centre of Dentistry Amsterdam (ACTA), the world's second-largest research institution in dentistry, and at the Interdisciplinary Department of Medicine of the University of Bari. He is a member of the Italian Academy of Endodontics, a lecturer for the University Master's Degree in Endodontics at the University of Foggia, Review Editor for the international scientific journal "Frontiers in Psychiatry (Aging Psychiatry section)", Associate Editor for "Frontiers in Dental Medicine (Aging and Dental Medicine section)", a peer reviewer for numerous internationally indexed scientific journals, and the author of numerous scientific articles published in international journals in the field of gerodontology. As a researcher, he is mainly concerned with the study of oral frailty and the relationship between oral health and systemic diseases in the elderly. He combines his clinical and teaching activities with advanced training in Endodontics, Geriatric Dentistry, and Oral Medicine, and works as a consultant specialist in the field of Endodontics at various practices in the provinces of Bari, Brindisi, and Taranto.
