Prof. Dr. Josefa Canals is a Full Professor (Department of Psychology, Rovira i Virgili University) working in the area of the psychopathology of children and adolescents. She is the co-coordinator of the Nutrition and Mental Health (NUTRISAM) consolidated research group (Generalitat Catalunya). Her research interests are focused on the epidemiology of psychopathological disorders in child and adolescent stages. She develops longitudinal studies on nutrition and cognitive and behavioral development, considering the effects of prenatal and postnatal nutrition on development.
