About Me
L’uboš Buzna is a Professor of Applied Informatics in the Department of Mathematical Methods and
Operations Research, at the University of Žilina. He received a Ph.D. from the University
of Žilina in 2003. In the past, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at several institutions, such
as the University of Barcelona from 2014 to 2015, ETH Zurich from 2007 to 2009, and TU Dresden
from 2005 to 2007. His research interests include applications of optimization and data analytics in
the domains of transportation and energy systems.
