Charalampos Sarafidis is an associate professor at the Physics Department of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He worked as a postdoc researcher in the same department from 2004 to 2006. He was a Science Fellow at the Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki from 2004 to 2012 and a researcher at the Hellenic Institute for Metrology from 2006 to 2010. He served as a researcher at the National Centre for Scientific Research—Demokritos from 2012 to 2014 and a lecturer at the Department of Physics, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki from 2014 to 2016. His research focuses on the study of structural and magnetic properties of materials suitable for use in permanent magnet applications and the study of permanent magnets in general.
