Prof. Dr. Markus Hoffmann is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, State University of New York at Brockport. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Physical Chemistry from the Washington University, St. Louis. He has published over 60 papers, and serves as a reviewer for various journals. Furthermore, he received recognition by awards such as the 2014 Roland Fontaine Award for Faculty-Student Scholarship (SUNY Brockport), the 2011 Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Scholarship and Creative Activity (State University of New York), and the SUNY Promising Inventor Award (2004). His specialty covers the areas of physical chemistry, NMR spectroscopy, green solvents, polyethylene glycol, physical property measurements, and molecular dynamics simulations.
