Rocío Martín-Valero, PhD, MSc, PT, is a professor and researcher at the Department of Physiotherapy, Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Málaga, Málaga, Spain. She investigates the areas of physiotherapy and the health of people with respiratory, neurological, and oncological conditions. She is currently researching the use of virtual reality in neurological patients and is particularly interested in the use of new technologies for innovation in health science teaching. She is a full-time lecturer at the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Malaga, Spain, and participates in the PROFISIO editorial, Panamericana.
