Vanessa M. López Ozuna (M.D, PhD) is a postdoctoral researcher at McGill University. She is an experienced physician and professor in the faculty of medicine at the National Autonomous University of Mexico. She has a PhD from McGill University in Experimental Medicine and pursued two years as postdoctoral fellow in the Lady Davis Institute for Medical Research. Her research expertise is in molecular and cell biology, bioinformatics and patient-derived xenografts models. Currently, her research is focusing in identifying new prognostic biomarkers and therapeutic modalities for breast cancer, ovarian and endometrial cancer. She has participated in several conferences, publications and book chapters as a first author.
