Jordi Camps is the Coordinator of the Research Laboratory of Hospital Universitari de Sant Joan de Reus, Catalonia, Spain. He is also an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Medicine of Universitat Rovira i Virgili. He received his doctorate in Biology (Physiology) from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. He is a specialist in Clinical Biochemistry. His research deals with the molecular basis of oxidation and inflammation processes, their relationships with metabolic alterations, noncommunicable and infectious diseases, and their pharmaconutritional modulation.
