Ibadete Bytyçi is a researcher who works at the Clinic of Cardiology, University Clinical Centre of Kosovo, in the Republic of Kosovo. She is also associated with the Public Health and Clinical Medicine department at Umea University in Sweden. In addition, she is the Head of the WG for Preventive Cardiology and Lipidology in Kosovo. Bytyçi has specialized in Internal Medicine and Cardiology at the University Clinical Centre of Kosovo, and she has also completed her PhD studies in Public Health and Clinical Medicine at Umea University. In recognition of her achievements, she was awarded the “Scientist of the Year 2021” prize by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology in Kosovo. Her clinical and research interests are focused on subclinical atherosclerosis, dyslipidemia, preventive cardiology, left atrial function, paroxysmal atrial fibrillation, and cardiac imaging. She has published many papers in peer-reviewed journals and presented her work at numerous national and international cardiovascular conferences.
