Prof. Dr. Barbara Trzebicka is the director of the Center for Polymers and Carbon Materials at the Polish Academy of Sciences. She has worked at the Trade Union of Employees of the Polish Academy of Sciences (ZZP PAN). She received a Doctorate in the Faculty of Chemistry from the Silesian University of Technology in 1987. She was awarded a Gold Cross of Merit for achievements in science by the President of the Republic of Poland. Furthermore, she has been Deputy-chairman of the Gliwice Branch of the Polish Chemical Society since 2019. Her research topics mainly include Polymers, Polymeric Materials, Material Characterization, and Polymer Science.
