Adila A Hamid currently works at the Department of Physiology, Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She obtained her bachelor's degree from Universiti Putra Malaysia in Biomedical Science in 2005. Her work focuses specifically on exploring the regenerative potential of stem cells isolated from adipose tissue and amniotic fluid using an in vitro model. As a member of the Cardiovascular Research Group in UKM, she also aimed to expand her research interest in investigating the potential of natural products such as anti-atherosclerosis and anti-hypertensive agents and elucidating the role of miRNA in cardiovascular-related diseases. She has 28 publications with 288 citations and an h-index of 9 (Scopus, 7 November 2023).
