Dr Amira A. Mohamed is a lecturer in inorganic chemistry in the department of basic science at the Zagazig Higher Institute of Engineering and Technology. She obtained her PhD from the faculty of science at Zagazig University in inorganic chemistry, specialising in the preparation of metal complexes and the characterization of them through different analyses like infrared, Uv-visbile spectra, DTG-TGA, HNMR, mass spectra, and also studying the biological activities of bacterial and fungal species, phytotoxicity on different plants, and also the carcinogenic effect in different cancer cell lines. Dr Mohamed has published different research articles in international journals. Her research interests are metal complexes, medicinal chemistry, organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, and spectroscopic techniques.
