Dr. Jose Antonio Lozano-Galant is an associate professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Castilla La Mancha in Spain. As a researcher, he leads the MA+EE research group focused on the application of BIM to structural and environmental projects applying the latest multidisciplinary technology (such as augmented reality, structural health monitoring, digital twins, and drones). His research interests include structural engineering, bridges, structural health monitoring, structural design, and structural optimization. He is a member of the Spanish Commission for the implementation of BIM in Spain (e.g., BIM).
