Biography
Gerd Buntkowsky studied Physics at the FU Berlin. After finishing his PhD, he moved as senior researcher to the Chemistry department of the FU Berlin, where he undertook his habilitation in Physical Chemistry. In 2004, he accepted an offer as full professor (C3) from the FSU Jena, and in 2009 he moved to the TU Darmstadt as Chair (W3) of Physical Chemistry.
